Terms of purchase and withdrawal

2. What you buy

FairCompass is free to use for up to 15 booths. The full version is a licence code that unlocks an unlimited number of further booths in the app. The code is valid without time limit for the FairCompass app including its updates and can be used on up to three of your own devices (phone or tablet) at the same time. When you change devices I release old devices on request. The code is intended for you or your company and must not be passed on or published.

3. Price, order and payment

The full version costs €29 one-time. incl. 19 % VAT. You order by email (prepare order) with your name and billing address; EU businesses please add their VAT ID. The contract is concluded when I confirm the order with an invoice. Payment by bank transfer or PayPal. After receipt of payment I send you the licence code by email, usually within one working day.

4. Unlocking

In the app open ⚙ → “Free version …”, enter the code and tap “Unlock”. Internet is needed once; afterwards the app works fully offline again. Only the code, a random ID of the app installation and the device type are transferred (see privacy policy).

5. Right of withdrawal (for consumers)

Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded. To exercise your right of withdrawal you must inform me (Richard Schülein, Steindeckerstr. 2, 91572 Bechhofen, Germany, admin@duko.de) of your decision by an unequivocal statement (e.g. an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline it is sufficient to send your communication before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw from this contract, I will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which I am informed of your withdrawal. I will use the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement. The licence code is blocked upon withdrawal.

Early expiry. The right of withdrawal expires when I have begun performance of the contract (sending the licence code) after you have expressly agreed that I begin before the end of the withdrawal period and have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. The order email contains such a sentence; without it I send the code only after the withdrawal period.

7. Defects

The statutory rights regarding defects apply. If something does not work, please write to me – it can usually be solved quickly. Please create a backup regularly (⚙ → “Create backup”); your data is stored only on your device.
